Moment Simplification

Class: Statics
What I learned today: In the vector equation Mo = r x F, r is the position vector between the origin of rotation and the force point.

Other Notes: You may have noticed that I didn't blog about Monday Nights modeling class. I was feeling really exhausted by work and how much nothing we did in class on monday night. My USB stick didn't reliably save my wheel part so I had to remake it on the fly. It turned out to be a perfect day to do that because it was TA grading day and the TA didn't have time to get all the way to my side of the class. Not only will I not get full credit on my Wheel part, I drove all the way to class without having any new material presented that day. They should really post the class plan ahead of time so I can decide if its worth it.

The picture above is of the statics room before the professor came in. He was 15 minutes late for class today.
